Hepcatproductions were looking to produce a crime serial. After many hours of research, in the dusty archives of the few remaining libraries, they were rewarded by re-discovering the 'lost', D.I. Braithwaite novels. Published between 1930-37, they reflected the gritty atmosphere of the period.
